Somehow the word terrorist is being dropped from the story...

This mirrors the same BS used when the OK city bombing occured. Initial reports put the blame on Muslim terror extremists. The killings in Norway surely fit the terrorist picture but the use of the label "terrorist" is frequently reserved for just Muslim actions. The early emphasis on terrorism has somehow been surpressed as the truth comes out that, like McVeigh, this was an extreme right wing attack. Note the following from "Common Dreams":

Norway Attacks Suspect 'Has Right-Wing Ties' Notice that the word 'terrorism' vanished from the media landscape and Faux News stopped covering it the minute they found out the guy was one of their own? 23 Jul 2011 Police have said a Norwegian man arrested after the twin terror attacks in Norway is a right-winger with anti-Muslim views, but they do not know whether that was a factor in the terror attacks. Police are continuing to question the 32-year-old - named by Norwegian television as Anders Behring Breivik - after he was detained on Friday evening in connection with the terror attacks. National police chief Sveinung Sponheim said internet postings by the suspected gunman "suggest that he has some political traits directed toward the right, and anti-Muslim views, but if that was a motivation for the actual act remains to be seen".
